The History of Dominos Pizza
Dominos pizza was created by a man known as Tom Monaghan. Tom Monaghan created his restaurant after buying a pizza place named Dominics. The store eventually came into a disagreement over the name with another local store and so he changed the name to Dominos. How to do I know this, I learned it from Bev Collins, a former major manager for Dominos Pizza. Bev Collin’s ebook is full of her personal experience with Tom; who she met when he attended her culinary class.

Great pizza is essentially composed of the following things: great dough, great sauce, great cheese, and great toppings. Additionally, having the right equipment is essential for making great pizza. Yes, this is a bit more information than just a list of ingredients and protocol of preparation; but if you want to make true Dominos Pizza, then you may want to learn from the master Bev Collins. More information on this will be made available on my site.

Not everyone holds the same taste in pizza. I personally have a few types of pizza that I cannot stand. Some pizza is totally horrible for me, like Sbarro Pizza; an insult to the senses. I simply do not like Sbarro Pizza; greasy, cheap, and expensive. The thought of spending money for it simply upsets me. Sbarro Pizza is always in malls but, thankfully, there are some of those other wonderful restaurants in every mall food court. I just wish there were more pizza restaurants to choose from at the mall food courts. It often appears as if Sbarro Pizza has a monopoly on the mall food court pizza business.

You may love Sbarro pizza; although I am not sure how this could happen. Either way, it just goes to show you how different people have a different idea of what good pizza should be. Perfecting your own pizza is something that takes time and experience. Sure, you can start with Dominos pizza, and then, as you become skillful; adapt it to suit your taste.
Dominos pizza recipes are easy to find on the internet; however, great pizza can only come from great chefs.

The Grill Glove is one of the best products to be released in a long time. The As Seen On TV world is known for going a bit over the top to draw attention to their amazing items but their is nothing silly, wild or campy about the Grill Glove. Try as I might I just can’t seem to find anyone out there with anything bad to say about it. So when I actually got my hands on one at my cousin’s July 4th barbeque I was really excited.

As I always point out, the beauty of As Seen On TV items is that they do a great job of solving seemingly easy problems that nobody has ever found a solution for. This is a perfect example. The problem I find with grilling is that getting control of the food while it’s on the grill is often impossible. Tongs are clumsy and other utensils may work, but not that well.

I happen to suffer from I term the “dropsies” and I’m one of the best in the world at dropping food through the grill onto the coals. I can’t remember the last time I was asked to man the barbeque pit, but honing my skills is important to me, and I’m sure others feel the same way.

So the Grill Glove is certainly an idea whose time has come. It looks similar to a large gardening glove but it is made from 100% food grade silicone and is heat resistant. This allows you to trash the tongs and actually go in and grab the food and control it.

It is now super easy to turn your hot dogs without dropping them. You can place your chops, chicken and steaks however you like and easily spread them around as you add more. You won’t get burned and there won’t be any reason to have a lot of utensils around. It happens to be dishwasher safe so clean up is simple.

The way it is sold you actually get two in an order so having one on each hand is wonderful. It actually feels like you are cooking on a surface with no heat. You touch, prod and grab at will and take the food from grill to table in a single step.

It my first try with the Grill Glove our grill was too crowded to do corn on the cob so we decided to boil it. It turns out you can just reach your hands into the pot and grab the corn with no worries. You won’t get burned or scalded so it’s possible you will find a lot more uses for it than just outside on barbeque.

As far As Seen On TV items go, I cannot find a single flaw in this product and that may be surprising to some. I can’t imagine anyone being dissatisfied with it and I don’t see any reason why it won’t replace the dirty charred oven mitts hanging in your kitchen right now. We are looking at the next big thing in the cooking industry and I think the infomercial guys got it right this time. What a pleasure using this product was.

If the ideal summer Saturday is a backyard BBQ where you are grilling for your family, you are likely getting good use out of your grill. Over time you will discover that you need to replace some of your Weber propane grill parts. Before you get to that point it is a good idea to learn a bit about your grill and your options.

When considering your grill parts, keep in mind that they fall into four basic types: the parts that originally came with your grill, replacement parts, new features that do not come standard, and any accessories that might complement your grill. There is a commonality of parts across many models of grills.

When put together, the cooking box and lid become the shell into which all the other parts attach. These two parts, along with the burners and the control knobs will give you a basic BBQ. Gas flows through tubing to the burners, which are regulated by the control knobs. You will generally find more than one burner contained in the cooking box. Multiple burners give you the ability to more easily control the temperature while cooking. Having a heavy steel lid that you can close allows you to hold the heat in for faster cooking under controlled temperatures.

Contained within the cooking box you will find the cooking grids, more commonly known as the cooking grates. The grates are where you place the food that you wish to cook. You will find that some grates are made of stainless steel or porcelain enameled steel, while some are made of cast iron. If you have cast iron grates, they require seasoning prior to the first use. You should follow the seasoning instructions in your owner’s manual. A unique feature that can enhance your cooking without any effort from you are the flavorizer bars, which catch some of the grease and drippings and then create flavor enhancing smoke that is absorbed by your food as it cooks. Any grease and drippings not used for this purpose will be caught in the catch pan located under the cooking box.

With the exception of the cooking box and the lid, almost all of the other parts of your grill are replaceable, should you need a new one. This is true of the burners, to the control knobs, to the drip pans, to the hoses through which the gas flows, and even the wheels that allow you to move your barbecue around. There are many locations where you can obtain your replacement parts. You will need to know your particular model number in order to get the right part to fit your grill.

Beyond the standard features that come with your grill, there are optional features available that might be of interest. One that is commonly selected is the rotisserie, which comes in several variations. You might like the standard spit for roasting large items of meat. Or, if you prefer, there is a basket option that allows placement of small items for cooking, or the prongs that insert on two ends of an item to be cooked; possibly a whole chicken. No matter which rotisserie option you select, you must have a motor to allow it so spin over the burners while cooking.

There are many types of accessories available. Some make cooking easier, like baskets for small items like vegetables, or cooking plates for delicate items like fish, or cooking utensils made specifically for cooking on the grill, with long handles and larger surfaces. There are also accessories for cleaning and protecting your grill. This includes a variety of brushes and scrubbers to keep the cooking grates clean, as well as heavy duty covers to protect your grill when it is not being used.

With care and maintenance, your grill will serve you for many years. When the time comes that you need Weber propane grill parts, you will find lots of options to enhance your experience with barbecuing.
