Applebees is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I have always wanted to learn how to cook there recipes in the luxury of my own kitchen. America’s Secret Recipe helped me become an expert in the kitchen while saving loads of MONEY. Have you ever been sitting at home and you just start craving that meal from your favorite restaurant. Applebees Boneless Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 3 dozen chicken wings
  • 12 ounces louisiana hot sauce
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour

Directions

  1. Bake or deep fry the wings until they are done.
  2. Mix all the sauce ingredients except flour in a sauce pan.
  3. Cook over medium to low heat
  4. When warm, add flour to thicken sauce: stir frequently.
  5. When sauce is thick, cover bottom of 9 x 13 inch baking dish with sauce.
  6. Mix the rest of the sauce with wings and place in baking dish.
  7. Bake at 300 Degrees for about 20 minutes or until warm.
  8. Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

This ultra easy beef chili recipe is so scrumptious that even the pickiest of souls is sure to love it! And for the health freaks out there, this chili recipe even comes with extra vegetables. The meat can also be substituted with either chicken, or even turkey, instead of beef. It is the ideal chili recipe for those cold nights, and one that everyone in the family is sure to love.

The Ingredients:

  • Five good sized carrots, diced into cubes or smaller
  • Four cloves of minced garlic
  • Three finely chopped onions
  • One can of tomato paste, small
  • One can of diced tomatoes, large
  • One kilogram or two pounds of ground beef, preferably lean. As mentioned above, you can also substitute chicken or turkey.
  • Four stalks of chopped celery
  • Half a cup of beef broth. However, if you’re using a substitute for your meat, remember to compensate accordingly.
  • A quarter cup of mild paprika
  • A half cup of ketchup to add a little sweetness
  • One 19 oz red kidney beans can
  • A third of a cup of chili powder
  • One teaspoon of cayenne pepper (but you can always increase this if you prefer it spicier)
  • Some grated cheddar cheese on top (but this is totally up to you)

Step Number One: Place the onions and ground beef into a pan with a little oil – not too much, though, because the beef contains its own fat. However, you can add more if you’re substituting beef with something else. Lightly pre-cook the beef over a medium flame and strain away any of the excess fat and oil.

Step Number Two: Add in your vegetables, namely the garlic, celery, tomatoes and carrots and then slowly start to mix in your beef broth. Cook over the medium flame for five to ten minutes while keeping an eye on your vegetables. Once they are soft, add your remaining ingredients (but leave the kidney beans for now).

Step Number Three: Cook over a low flame for about an hour. If you have access to a slow cooker, this is the perfect chili recipe to follow and cook in it for a couple of hours. The ingredients put in will come out so tender, they will melt in your mouth!

Step Number Four: Finally, mix in your kidney beans around ten minutes before you serve this dish over pasta, with rice, on its own, or even some lightly toasted French bread.

This is the perfect chili recipe for those cold winter nights, for family dinners and gatherings, and even works as leftovers for lunch the next day. You could also get your kids involved and make it a family event, if you’d like.

Applebees Southwest Steak Recipe

Ingredients:

2 (5.5 ounce) sirlon steaks

4 shakes blackened steak seasoning

1/2 cup red peppers, julienne cut

1/2 cup green peppers, julienne cut

1 cup yellow onion, julienne cut

Butter as needed

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Garlic, granulated to taste

1 slice cheddar cheese

1 slice monterey jack cheese sliced

Directions:

1. Preheat your skillet or grill to 550 degrees F.

2. Shake blackened steak seasoning on to one side of meat and grill to desired doneness, turning halfway on grill between flips to achieve diamond grill marks.

3. While steak is cooking, cut onions and peppers. Melt butter and saute onions and peppers. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Reduce heat and hold until steak is cooked.

4. For final minute of steak cooking, top with cheese slices. Plate for service with onions and peppers and serve with your favorite side dishes. Applebees serves theirs with skin-on garlic mashed potatoes and garlic bread, optionally salad.

This book led me to me so many recipes other than just applebees secret recipes. I have surprised my family and friends with all kinds of new recipes, they think I’m some kind of chef. 1. Preheat your oven to 425 Degrees

2. Mix the bisquick with the cheese until both are evenly distributed

3. Slowly add the milk into the mix and stir gently

4. Spoon onto an un-greased cookie sheet

5. Bake biscuits for 8 to 10 minutes

6. Immediately brush on the melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder
