An Angel says, ‘Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn’t happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice.’

1. Pray

2. Go to bed on time.

3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.

4. Say No to projects that won’t fit into your time schedule or that will compromise your mental health.

5. Delegate tasks to capable others.

6. Simplify and uncluttered your life.

7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)

8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.

9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don’t lump the hard things all together.

10. Take one day at a time.

11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can’t do anything about a situation, forget it.

12… Live within your budget; don’t use credit cards for ordinary purchases.

13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.

14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.

15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.

16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.

17. Get enough rest

18. Eat right. & nbsp;

19 Get organized so everything has its place.

20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.

22. Every day, find time to be alone.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don’t wait until it’s time to go to bed to try and pray.

24. Make friends with Godly people.

25. Keep a folder of favorite scriptures on hand.

26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good ‘Thank you Jesus.’  ;

27. Laugh.

28. Laugh some more!

29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.

30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).

31. be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).

32. Sit on your ego

33 Talk less; listen more.

34. Slow down.

35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.

36 Every night before bed, think of one thing you’re grateful for that you’ve never been grateful for before. GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

‘If God is for us, who can be against us?’

(Romans 8:31)

You’re a hardworking, dependable gal who divides her time between family, friends, work and maybe a love life. What about personal time? Do you spend at least one day a quarter wherein it’s just you and no one else? We’re talking about one whole day where you’re absolutely disconnected from technology, work duties and other obligations.

Once every three months, schedule one whole day where you’ll do something that invigorates your mind, body, and spirit. You need to take time off to spend with yourself, wherein you’ll relax, rejuvenate and reflect on your life. It’s like going on a personal retreat that will make you a happier more relaxed person….

As my friend was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from the ropes they were tied to but for some reason, they did not. My friend saw a trainer nearby and asked why these beautiful, magnificent animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away.

“Well,” he said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.” My friend was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.

Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before? So make an attempt to grow further…. Why shouldn’t we try it again?

“YOUR ATTEMPT MAY FAIL, BUT NEVER FAIL TO MAKE AN ATTEMPT.

They make you smart! Scientists from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of California at Santa Barbara discovered that women with a bigger difference between their hips and their waists performed better on IQ tests than their straight figured counterparts thanks to the brain fuelling omega-3 fatty acids stored in their hips and thighs.

Greenpeace reports that ocean temperatures have increased since the 70’s and it’s still getting warmer. With the rise of carbon dioxide levels, water is getting more acidic, dissolving calcium carbonate that coral and plankton produce and rely on the survive. Toxic waste also messed up our precious water. So save water by banking rain water to drizzle your greens at home.

Watering your garden daily keeps everything green, but what’s filtering down to the soil may be more than just water. The pesticide you sprayed to get rid of your aphid problem drains down too, polluting our waterways and possibly even making it back to our faucets. A spray mixture of crushed hot chili peppers and water will solve your bug problem, and as it drains off nothing else is harmed but those pesky pests.

An unemployed graduate woke up one morning and checked his pocket. All he had left was $10. He decided to use it to buy food and then wait for death as he was too proud to go begging. He was frustrated as he could find no job, and nobody was ready to help him.

He bought food and as he sat down to eats, an old man and two little children came along and asked him to help them with food as they had not eaten for almost a week. He looked at them. They were so lean that he could see their bones coming out. Their eyes had gone into the socket. With the last bit of compassion he had, he gave them the food. The old man and children prayed that God would bless and prosper him and then gave him a very old coin. The young graduate said to them ‘you need the prayer more than I do’.

With no money, no job, no food, the young graduate went under the bridge to rest and wait for death. As he was about to sleep, he saw an old newspaper on the ground. He picked it up, and suddenly he saw an advertisement for people with old coins to come to a certain address.

He decided to go there with the old coin the old man gave him. On getting to the place, he gave the proprietor the coin. The proprietor screamed, brought out a big book and showed the young graduate a photograph. This same old coin was worth 3 million dollars. The young graduate was overjoyed as the proprietor gave him a bank draft for 3 million dollars within an hour. He collected the Bank Draft and went in search of the old man and little children.

By the time he got to where he left them eating, they had gone. He asked the owner of the canteen if he knew them. He said no but they left a note for you. He quickly opened the note thinking it would lead him to find them.

This is what the note said: ‘You gave us your all and we have rewarded you back with the coin,’ signed God the Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. 1 Kings 17:10-16; Matthew 11:28-30

As a child, you thought that your parents would live forever. They were there from when you took your tentative first steps to when you got married and had children of your own. You think of your parents as the same two people who sent you off the college, but when you look at them now, you ask. When did they start looking so old? You suddenly realize that you might have to start taking care of them soon – if you aren’t already. It’s a difficult task, for sure, but with the right mindset and enough preparation, you’ll be able to make what would have otherwise been a sticky situation easier for you and your parents.
